(i)               Passed Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent with credit (grade C) in Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia subject or credit in 

            Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia of July paper,

             

            AND

(ii)              Passed the Diploma or equivalent programme recognized by the Government and approved by the Senate of UTM,

            AND      

                                            

(iii)             Obtain at least Band 2 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET)

Programme Requirement: 

(b)             Programme (SKEE) Admission Requirements:

(i)               Holds a Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Power / Communication / Electronics / Mechatronics) from UTM or Public Institute of Higher Learning (IPTA) or Private Institute of Higher Learning (IPTS) or equivalent with PNGK of at least 3.00,

OR

            For candidates who earn CGPA from 2.75 - 2.99 from the diploma program stated above but has at least 2 years working experience with the requested fields are  also eligible to apply,

OR

            For candidates who earn CGPA from 2.50 - 2.74 from the diploma program stated above but has at least 4 years working experience in the applied fields are also eligible to apply,

AND

(ii)              Passed Mathematics and Physics subject with credit in SPM, 

            

OR

            Passed any Mathematics and Physics in diploma with grade B,

OR

           For candidates who do not receive credit in Physics subject in SPM or grade B at the Diploma level, candidate must take and pass Strengthening Physics course in first semester of study,

AND

(iii)            The candidate are not color blindness or disable so as not to hamper from doing practical work,

            

OR

            If there is any color blindness and minor disability, candidate need to get confirmation from the government medical doctors, stated that the deficiency does not make it difficult from doing practical work.
